FMRRA: Florida Motorcycle Road Racing Association

February 3, 2020

With limited options to get on the track nationwide, the Florida Motorcycle Road Racing Association is offering a special promotion for new racers looking for competition in their offseason.

For the first time ever, FMRRA is extending a free weekend racing license to the any licensed racers (CCS/WERA/etc.) to join the series at Palm Beach International Raceway on February 8-9. Thanks to Saturday qualifying, gridding procedures are based solely on actual qualifying lap times. Regardless of previous FMRRA entry, or points standings, Sunday race grid positions are based solely upon their performance at the track. Racers may choose any custom race number available; however, will accommodate existing race numbers to reduce expenses.

Timing and scoring is courtesy of the industry standard, MYLAPS Sports Timing. Therefore, any AMB TransX, X2, TR2, or previous legacy transponder will work, just provide your information at registration.

Furthermore, fuel expenditures are lower than other series, as FMRRA takes advantage of Sunoco Racing Fuels for their spec fuel. All SuperStock classes run Sunoco 93 Premium Unleaded (purchased at the track), while SuperBike classes are eligible to run Sunoco 93 or APEX Racing Fuel.

Florida looks forward to welcoming new racers to our territory to join us at Round 4 of our 2020 Championship.
