Florida Motorcycle Road Racing Association returns to Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, FL for Round Eight, the final round of the 2020 Florida Motorcycle Championship this weekend August 29, 30!

The double point weekend leaves most of the championships up for grabs after a competitive race season! We have 42 class championships that are still undecided coming into this last round! Out of those 42, we have 9 class championships where 1st and 2nd are separated by 5 points or less!

Former FMRRA overall champion Daryan Martin currently sitting in second place still has a shot at the Expert overall championship with an injured Max Angles trying to hang on to his points lead!

Patrick Plowman currently leads the 2020 Amateur overall championship in one of the most competitive years yet with multiple leader changes throughout the year. The Amateur Championship is still up in the air with nearly half a dozen racers sitting within one hundred points of each other.

Team Free Hugs by Westside sits in a close second place to possibly topple perennial champion Team Hurricane Racing.

Less than thirty points separate the top three racers for the super competitive FMRRA overall Master’s championship with Donald Dufresne hanging onto the current lead over Jerry Pelligrino headed into the weekend!

Romulo Ruiz sits only fourteen points ahead of Gabriel Zolczar for the overall Sunoco Superbike 1000 championship! The overall Sunoco Superbike championship is the total points accumulated during eight rounds of the 2020 championship of the twelve lap Grande Corsa race and six lap Sprint races over the 2020 season!

We’re looking forward to some great battles this weekend as many of the individual championships are separated by just a few points!
